Learning science is a valuable
pursuit. It is part of the human quest for understanding and wisdom, and
reflects human wonder about the world. Science provides an empirical way of
answering interesting questions about the biological, physical and
technological world.
In the Junior School science at St Patrick’s College is based on
the Australian Curriculum and is organised around three interrelated strands:
Science inquiry skills; Science as a human endeavour; and Science understanding.
In the Senior School, the subjects offered are Biology,
Chemistry, Physics, and Psychology.
